For these tasks it has modern means and offers a high added value to its clients in the following fields:<\/p>\n Road Safety.<\/strong><\/p>\n APImovilidad performs technical assistance contracts to carry out studies and road safety projects for the Administration, including the development of statistical reports and the study of blackspots and preventive actions, including specific projects for the improvement of these sections. In addition, it provides support to the maintenance centres through the systematic study of accidents (it has its own computer programs) in order to reduce, as far as possible and with low-cost measures, the hazard and mortality rates for each road section. These studies include proposals for improvements in the network and specific road safety projects, as well as a follow-up of the activities carried out to assess their effectiveness.<\/p>\n Safety in Tunnels.<\/strong><\/p>\n We manage assistance contracts in tunnel safety for the Administration. By having a safety officer in each tunnel of the road network, we can coordinate all the aspects related to safety inside the tunnel, including the proper functioning of the equipment and carrying out drills.
